Tuesday Feb 9th Picks

Hey there guys,
Yesterday was a great day for me, I went 3-0 in the NBA as Vince Carter dropped 48 in a comeback over the Hornets, the Mavericks had a ridiculous 4th quarter in their 127-117 win over Golden State, and then the Lakers beat the Spurs 101-89. In the NHL I went 4-1, but the best news I got yesterday was that I got a job at Huntsville Times. Should be fun. Well we've got a couple of SEC Basketball games tonight as Tennessee goes on the road to Nashville to play Vanderbilt and then Alabama travels north to play the Kentucky Wildcats. There are also some good NBA games and some great NHL match ups. As always guys let me know what you think.

Preview: This is an interesting match up as I am interested to see how Vanderbilt recovers after a disappointing upset at the hands of Georgia, and now they have to get up to play rival, who happens to be on a roll right now, Tennessee. In their last meeting Vanderbilt won by 9 and G Jermaine Beal had a great game scoring 25 points and Tenn F Wayne Chism, while dominating the boards with 16 rebounds, was a non factor offensively, and if he can change that I think Tennessee will win. I don't think he's going to change that.

Preview: Alabama is playing great first halfs. And awful second halfs. They are going to need a full game in order to have a chance against Kentucky. I expect it to be a close game at halftime but the Wildcats pull away in the second half.
