Michael Dyer
Name/Pos/Grade*
Michael Dyer/RB/93.1
Eval: One of the best running backs this entire class. Period. He has a low center gravity and is a north south runner. He is not going to be the home run type of back that can take it to the house on any given carry (4.5 speed) but he is a powerful pounding back that reminds one of reigning Heisman trophy winner Mark Ingram. He doesn't have very fluid hips, as shown on film with his lack of elusiveness, and it may take him a bit to get used to spread rushing attack like the one that Auburn runs. He does have pretty good hands, runs solid routes, and is an above average pass blocker meaning he gives something to a passing game. He is one of your 25+ carry backs that a team can win behind.
Trovon Reed/Ath/90.1
Eval: A great athlete with some explosive acceleration, he gets from 0 to 60 in a hurry. He is also ridiculous in the open field, he has amazing vision, smooth and fluid hips, great cutting ability, and he can stop and start with the best of them. He can return kicks, play defensive back, but is probably best at Wide Receiver where you can get him out in the open field. One of the best prospects in this class that will probably need to beef up a little bit more, and will obviously need a little bit of coaching, at WHEREVER he ends up playing, because he really isn't polished at any position, and he'll need to get a little bit more physical but those are things he can get fixed with a half a year. Expect him to make an impact right away.

Logan Young's Staircase: Saints Fan in Louisiana... don't know when I'll hear from him again.
Jerrell Powe's Scooter: Still asleep.
Batteman: This is a really solid class, heavy on offensive lineman signing 6, and really filling most spots though I think they could have used a 1 or 2 more interior defensive lineman. They have players there but there isn't much young talent and depth there now so the 2 that they signed this year may be forced to play a little bit right away. Dyer and Reed are the obvious best in the class but Juco QB Cam Newton, with some help from his dad, picked Auburn over State and should start right away. And he looks like the perfect QB for a Gus Mahlzahn offense. There are a couple more guys that I like and can't wait to see develop in this system, LaDarius Owens, Jeff Whitaker, Shon Coleman, and Jake Holland. These guys could be future stars later on.
Grade Rating
A - Should make an impact IMMEDIATELY, great player expected to eventually be a top pro prospect. The kind of guy you tell your kids/grandkids about.
B - Can make an impact within the first year or two that he steps on campus. Great Pro Potential, and an eventual Star in the SEC.
C - Could develop in to a solid starter with some pro potential.
D - Developmental talent but lacks the physical tools to really be a star in the SEC. Most likely a special teams contributor or role player. Probably stolen from the Sun Belt.
F - Sleeper; Project Player; not enough information to really get an idea about the player. Most likely not going to make an impact until late in college career.
Alright guys hope you enjoy and as always let me know what you think. Tomorrow's Class: Florida Gators
