Monday December 17th
NCAAM
SEC
South Carolina State vs. No. 12 Missouri (N/A)
Line: N/A
O/U: N/A
My Pick: Missouri 84, South Carolina State 53
Cornell vs. Vanderbilt (-525)
Line: Vanderbilt -10
O/U: 126
Preview: Vanderbilt has struggled some this season after high expectations a year ago. Sophomore guard Kedren Johnson has been the lone bright spot. However, expect the 'Dores to ride their 2-game win streak to an 11-point victory.
My Pick: Vanderbilt 70, Cornell 59
NBA
Timberwolves (-160) @ Magic
Line: Timberwolves -3.5
O/U: 193
Preview: I like the Timberwolves to win the game, but the Magic aren't pushovers. The return of Rubio will help the T-Wolves get the win, but don't be surprised at an upset here.
My Pick: Timberwolves 97, Magic 95
Rockets @ Knicks (-545)
Line: Knicks -10
O/U: 210.5
Preview: James Harden and Omar Asik have been pleasant surprises for the Rockets, but the Knicks are just playing too good of basketball right now. I think Tyson Chandler and Co. spoil Lin's return to the Big Apple
My Pick: Knicks 112, Rockets 95
Clippers (-280) @ Pistons
Line: Clippers -6.5)
O/U: 192.5
Preview: The Pistons aren't as bad as they were to start the season, but that isn't saying much. The Clippers are on a roll right now and I doubt they will slip up in the Motor City.
My Pick: Clippers 106, Pistons 89
Bulls @ Grizzlies (-250)
Line: Grizz -6.5
O/U: 180
Preview: The Bulls are still a good team without D-Rose, but their back court is depleted with Rip Hamilton still out and Kirk Hinrich not expected to play. I look for the Grizz and their deep bench to grab a close win in the FedEx Forum.
My Pick: Grizzlies 94, Bulls 90
Spurs @ Thunder (-210)
Line: Thunder -5
O/U: 207
Preview: This is a battle of the two top teams in the West right now, and while this looks like a close game I think the Thunder will ride the momentum of their 10-game win streak to a comfortable home win.
My Pick: Thunder 109, Spurs 98
Kings @ Suns (-280)
Line: Suns -7
O/U: 198
Preview: With Evans and Thornton out for the Kings I think this road contest is going to be a little bit too much for them to handle. If they're going to have a chance DeMarcus Cousins is going to have to be successful against constant double teams from Louis Scola and Marcin Gortat. Good luck.
My Pick: Suns 105, Kings 96
