While I really like Tennessee I am questioning the effects of being destroyed by Kentucky in their last outing of the season, and San Diego State is really hot.

Schizophrenic Georgetown is interesting, and this really is going to depend on which Hoya team shows up.

Temple is a very underrated team that plays great defense. Wisconsin has terrible offense. Temple with the upset.

2. villanova vs. 10. SAINT MARY'S
Villanova is 4-6 in their last 10 including an early exit in the Big East tournament. Saint Mary's is a very hot and very underrated team.

Anyone else think Pittsburgh has been overrated this year?

These are my two favorite teams in the Tournament in Ohio State and Kansas

2. WEST VIRGINIA vs. 3. new mexico
Kentucky barely gets by the Owls.
South
1. DUKE vs. 13. siena
3. baylor vs. 10. SAINT MARY'S
While I am not 100% confident in this upset I just get the feeling that Saint Mary's is going to be this good. I don't know why. Call it a gut feeling.
West
1. SYRACUSE vs. 5. butler
2. KANSAS STATE vs. 6 xavier
Butler's 22 game win streak ends in Buffalo.
ELITE EIGHT
Midwest
1. KANSAS vs. 2. ohio state
Sherron Collins and the Jayhawks tournament experience = too much for Evan Turner
East
1. kentucky vs. 2. WEST VIRGINIA
Bob Huggins > John Calipari. Mountaineers frustrate DeMarcus Cousins down low, win late.
South
1. DUKE vs. 10. saint mary's
It ends here for Saint Mary's.
West
1. syracuse vs. 2. KANSAS STATE
Kansas State wants that rematch with Kansas in the Final Four.
FINAL FOUR
1. KANSAS vs. 2. kansas state
Doesn't mean they're going to beat them.
1. DUKE vs. 2. west virginia
West Virginia wants payback for getting snubbed out of a #1 Seed. Duke shows why they got it.
FINALS
1. KANSAS vs. 1. duke
While I think Duke is a good basketball team, I do not think they are athletic enough to keep up with Sherron Collins and the Kansas Jayhawks. My 2010 NCAA Tournament Champions.

Not nearly enough chalk. The rule keeping players in school for a year is making the top teams better. You won't see a 10+ seed in the sweet sixteen.
ReplyDeleteWhile I agree with that for the most part, I have to ask who is that NBA Player, Top Talent, on Texas A&M? Utah State doesn't have one but in my opinion they were vastly underseeded and as a #12 they are a perfect sleeper pick to be that double digit to make the Sweet Sixteen. It helps that if they get past the Aggies, they either get Siena, guaranteeing a 10+, or Robbie Hummel-less Purdue. Saint Mary's is another one of those teams that I think is vastly underrated and Villanova has only won 4 of their last 10. Scottie Reynolds is good but if they struggle in the first round then how are they going to react if Saint Mary's, or even Richmond comes at them pretty hard? I like San Diego State in round 1, and if they face Georgetown the question becomes which Hoya team will they face? The one that lost to South Florida and Rutgers? Or the one that destroyed Duke and upset Syracuse on its way to the Big East Championship game? I just think that there really are some good chances for some upsets in not only the 1st but the 2nd round as well.
