Hey there guys,
Well Yesterday was actually a pretty good day as far as my picks went. Only in 2 sports though. Which here recently is good for me (ha ha). Anyway I went 10-5 (10-5 ATS) in MLB, which is really good considering that I went 2-9 the day before, I also went 3-3 in SEC Baseball as Auburn fell just short of the comeback against LSU and South Carolina just continues to show me how wrong I am as they just keep winning when I think they shouldn't. Maybe they'll change my mind? Na. I'm stubborn. Anyway where I went awfully wrong was in the NBA. 5-8 (7-6 ATS). I don't really mind if I do awful I can at least get the job done against the spread. So while it looks bad I'll live. And in my worst sport, Hockey, I went 5-0 (2-3 ATS). Hey 5-0 is FANTASTIC for me. Maybe I'll do better today.

4/9 Recap and 4/10 Preview and Picks
Yesterday saw some great baseball and some history made as Arkansas Head Coach Dave Van Horn won his 300th game at Arkansas as the Razorbacks defeated the Bulldogs of Mississippi State 8-3; Keith Burns knocked his 8th and 9th homers of the season as the Wildcats came back to beat the Crimson Tide 7-6; Drew Pomeranz, Baseball America's mdseason Player of the Year, fanned 15 as the Rebels took out the Georgia Bulldogs 4-1, scoring all 4 in the last 3 innings; #8 Florida just got by Tennessee in Knoxville 4-2 to take the opener of the series; LSU opened up with 6 runs in the first and would tack on a few more as they held off the Auburn Tigers in a 14-10 win in Auburn; and South Carolina continues to win baseball games as they took out the Commodores 3-2 behind a stellar performance by starting pitcher Blake Cooper.
Today is Game 2, the most critical in my opinion, of the Weekend Series as many teams look to take the series while others try to even it up.

4/9 Recap and 4/10 Preview and Picks
In MLB there were some great games yesterday as the Tigers opened up this series with a 5-2 win over the Indians; the Giants keep their record unbeaten after just getting by the (my) Braves 5-4 in 13 innings; Toronto continues to impress as they win another one, this time a 7-6 win over the Orioles; Jorge De La Rosa went 7 innings of 1 hit baseball, striking out 9, as the Rockies won 7-0 over the Padres; the Rays open up the series by blowing out the Yankees 9-3; the Reds defeated the Cubs with a 8th inning grand slam by Drew Stubbs 5-4; the Rangers took the opener from the struggling Mariners 6-2; Jeff Francoeur was one of 2 Mets to hit 2 home runs as they walloped the Nationals 8-2; the Twins continue to win as they took a close one from the White Sox, 4-3 in 11; Hiroki Kuroda went 8 innings, struck out 7 and did not allow an earned run as the Dodgers took out the Marlins 7-3; the Royals beat the Red Sox behind Rick Ankiel's 4/4 day (he also had 1hr and 4rbi), there is still plenty of season left for the Red Sox but with Greinke getting ready to take the mound today the Red Sox do need to hurry up and turn around; the Phillies continue to dominate as they beat the Astros 8-0; Oakland continued their hot start while the Angels are still struggling, A's 10-4; the Cardinals, down 4-1 at one point, would come from behind and score two in the top of the 9th as they went on to beat the Brewers 5-4; the Diamondbacks scored 6 in the 3rd, including Chris Young's Grand Slam (3/4 1hr 5rbi), as they went on to pound the Pirates 9-1.
Today there are some great games in Baseball as the Nationals try to come back and even the series against the Mets in game 2, Felix Hernandez takes the mound for the Mariners as they take on the Rangers, the Yankees and the Rays meet in game 2, the Blue Jays look to take series number 2 (out of 2) as Dave Eveland takes the mound today against the Orioles, Josh Beckett goes up against Zach Greinke in what should be a great pitching duel between the Red Sox and the Royals, the Athletics look to keep up their winning ways as the Angels look to turn things around, and Derek Lowe will go for win #2 of 2010 as he takes the hill for the Braves against the Giants tonight.
