Saturday July 24th MLB Picks

Hey there guys,

It's been awhile. I have been working on finishing up my 2010 College Football Conference Predictions which will start coming out this week, with my Non - BCS Conference Preview coming out Monday. Anyway Let me get straight to it. Here are today's picks.

San Francisco Giants @ Arizona Diamondbacks (-1.5)(9.0)
M. Bumgarner (2.04 proj era) vs. I. Kennedy (4.46)
Preview: I was really surprised to see the line going to Arizona today, the Giants are hitting the ball better right now, and Bumgarner is pitching really well, it also helps that the Giants are one of the hottest teams in all of baseball, having won 8 of their last 10. Kennedy is a solid pitcher but the Diamondbacks have to hope that he pitches a near complete game, because if he were to be chased early he would turn things over to the worst bullpen in the majors, with an era of 6.38. Throw in the fact that the D-Backs don't hit left handed pitching very well and I am even more stunned that the D-Backs are the favorite.
