Hey there guys,
What can I say, I'm off to a good start on my MLB picks. 7-5 after one day, including nailing my Pick of the Day with the Yankees knocking off the Blue Jays 6-3. Today all 30 teams are in action.
A quick update, things are moving along great with my college football previews, as I begin evaluating South Carolina, I'm also developing a schedule that I can post here so that you will know when to expect my strokes of genius. Keep checking back as I update the site.
As always, you are free to tell me why I'm wrong, and I'm free to not care. Enjoy!
Today's Pick
Reds (-157) over Diamondbacks
Let me preface this by saying I was strongly considering putting the Yankees back up here. The Blue Jays just placed Jose Bautista on the DL and C.C. Sabathia, fresh off a stint on the DL himself, has dominated the blue birds int he past. However, this pick provides more value. The Reds are being heavily undervalued here after it was announced that Joey Votto is going to undergo surgery. Johnny Cueto has been great at home this season (5-1, 2.28 ERA; 7 starts), and is 3-0 vs. the D-Backs in his career, in 4 starts with a sub-2.25 ERA. The projected batting order for Ari tonight has hit for combined avg of .185. As the points continue to drop for the Reds, the value of this pick greatly increases. I think the Reds win by 1 (5-4)
